ISLAMABAD: It has confirmed the name of the new team coming from Hyderabad. The team will be named “Hyderabad Kingsmen”, owner Fawad Sarwar disclosed during the official naming ceremony of the Pakistan Super League Franchise.

The launching ceremony at Niaz Stadium was marked with a one-minute silence for the Islamabad blast victims.

For instance, former Afghanistan cricketer Rahmanullah Gurbaz has pulled out of the PSL. Former Australian fast bowler Jason Gillespie, who in the past has served as a coach for the Pakistan cricket team, will join Hyderabad Kingsmen as head coach.

Meanwhile, Afghanistan’s wicketkeeper-batter Rahmanullah Gurbaz has opted out of the 11th season of the Pakistan Super League, stepping away from the tournament due to personal reasons. He has also shared the reason for this decision with his fans.

Gurbaz shared a video on Instagram in Pashto, stating that he will not be available for the PSL due to personal commitments and that he will be returning to Afghanistan after the World Cup. In the caption of his post, he expressed his gratitude to the fans, writing, Thank you for all the love and support.

For PSL Season 11, Peshawar Zalmi added Rahmanullah Gurbaz to their squad through direct signing prior to the auction. The franchise confirmed Gurbaz’s signing on its official social media accounts on February 5.

The announcement also included a graphical poster that featured Gurbaz wearing a traditional turban against a mountain backdrop; however, the details of the deal were not disclosed.
