PESHAWAR: A total of 1,376 complaints against various departments in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) were recorded on the Pakistan Citizen Portal this year, out of which 876 complaints have been resolved so far, bringing the overall redressal rate to 64%.

As per Pakistan Citizen Portal statistics from January 1 to the present date, the Elementary and Secondary Education Department received the highest complaints of 429. Out of these, 224 complaints have been sorted out, thus having a redressal rate of 52%.

Finance Department received 155 complaints out of which 138 have been solved with an 89% resolution rate.

Communications and Works Department received 122 complaints of which only 36 were solved, thus having a redressal rate of 30%.

On the other hand, 93 complaints were filed against the Higher Education, Archives and Libraries Department and out of these 63 complaints were resolved.

Board of Revenue received 79 complaints out of which 57 complaints have been resolved, while Human Resources Management received 59 complaints, out of which 56 complaints were resolved.

Health Department received 59 complaints and 46 complaints have been sorted out. Planning and Development Department received 57 complaints out of which 35 complaints were sorted out.

Home and Tribal Affairs Department received 46 complaints out of which only 14 complaints were sorted out, while Transport and Mass Transit Department received 41 complaints and 35 complaints were solved.

Information and Public Relations Department received 32 complaints out of which 23 complaints were sorted out.

Zakat, Ushr, Social Welfare and Women Empowerment related departments received 28 complaints out of which all complaints were sorted out.
