ABBOTTABAD: The hospital has released the post-mortem report of slain Dr Warda, who was allegedly killed over 67 Tola gold by her close friend in Abbottabad the other day.
How did the deceased Dr Warda die? According to the postmortem report, Dr Warda died due to suffocation; her neck was broken.
For more evidence, the postmortem details have been sent to the forensic laboratory so that a complete scientific investigation of the motives and method of the incident can be carried out.
Meanwhile, Abbottabad police presented Dr Warda’s friend Rida, wife Waheed, Nadeem, son of Aurangzeb, and Pervez, son of Ayub, involved in the murder case, in the anti-terrorism court and obtained a three-day remand.
The arrest of the main accused, Shamrez, in the case has not yet been possible.
It should be noted that on December 4, Dr Warda Mushtaq was taken from the hospital by her friend Rida Waheed to return 67 tolas of gold jewellery and was killed by another accused in an under-construction house adjacent to Jadoon Plaza and buried in a pit in the forest of Lai Banota.
After an investigation by the police, the body was recovered on the early morning of December 8 after the suspects were identified.
The victim lived with her father and brother, while her husband Raheel Ali Raza is living in Korea for work and will arrive in Pakistan on December 11.
