Security forces came under gunfire during a flag march in the Eidgah area of Rawalakot, with the Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC) allegedly linked to the incident.
An armored personnel carrier (APC) belonging to the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Police was repeatedly targeted, sustaining approximately 30 bullet impacts from various small weapons.
The APC also suffered mechanical issues, including flat rear tires due to the gunfire. Despite the heavy assault, the vehicle continued to operate effectively, protecting the personnel on board throughout the incident.
