The government has announced a reduction in the prices of petrol and diesel by Rs 6 and Rs 6.80 per litre, respectively.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the new price of petrol is now set at Rs 403 per litre, while the price of diesel has decreased to Rs 404 per litre.
This change in prices will take effect immediately across the country from midnight tonight.
