ISLAMABAD: The federal government has issued a gazette notification of the Finance Act for the fiscal year 2026-27, after which the official implementation of the federal budget for the new fiscal year will begin from July 1.
According to the gazette notification issued, all new tax measures, duties and other financial decisions included in the budget for the fiscal year 2026-27 will come into effect from July 1, 2026.
After presidential approval, the finance bill was sent to the Printing Corporation of Pakistan for the purpose of publishing a gazette notification to fulfill the legal requirements.
With the issuance of the government notification, the Finance Act 2026-27 has become a formal legal act, while the implementation of all financial and tax measures included in the federal budget for the new fiscal year will also begin from July 1.
