PESHAWAR: The road leading to the scenic Saif-ul-Malook Lake has been reopened for tourists after improvement in weather conditions, the district administration announced.
According to officials, a formal notification has been issued allowing visitors to travel on the lake road from 9 am to 4 pm daily.
The road was closed last week due to poor weather conditions and the safety of tourists visiting the famous destination.
Officials further said that if there are any threats posed to the tourists from the adverse weather conditions, the road would once again be closed with the assistance of the Assistant Commissioner Balakot.
It is stated that any decision regarding the road will be made keeping in mind the travel advisories that will be issued by NDMA and PDMA along with weather forecasts.
Tourists are advised to keep themselves informed about the weather before they visit the place.
