The federal government has decided to take a major step to provide 300 free cycles to students of various universities in Islamabad, which aims to promote health and reduce the financial burden of the students.
According to the details, 300 bicycles have been provided to the students of federal government educational institutions. Officials said that the cycling initiative aims to promote a healthy lifestyle among the youth and encourage environmentally friendly means of travel.
The project will be supervised by the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB), while its practical management in government schools will be entrusted to the Islamabad Cycling Association. Officials said that the cycling initiative will help improve the physical health of students and will also increase the students’ inclination towards sports and positive activities.
