KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan recorded a significant decline on the third day of the business week.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola fell by Rs 11,300 to reach Rs 454,036.
Following the drop in per tola rates, the price of 10 grams of gold also decreased. 10 grams of gold went down by Rs 9,688 and is now priced at Rs 389,262.
The sharp correction comes after gold had been trading at record highs in recent sessions. Market analysts say the decline is linked to fluctuations in international bullion rates and local currency movements.
