ISLAMABAD: Banks have raised their auto financing considerably and therefore, there is good news for Pakistanis who intend to buy cars.
The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has reported that the total amount of loans given by banks to customers for the purchase of cars reached Rs318 billion in November 2025, which is a 35.5 percent increase compared to the same month of last year.
Banks had given Rs235 billion in November 2024 for car financing, indicating a remarkable growth in auto loans year-on-year.
The banks also showed a positive trend with car financing on a month-on-month basis. Auto loans increased by 0.8 percent in November as compared to October 2025. The car loans provided by banks in October were Rs315 billion which went up to Rs318 billion in the subsequent month.
The gradual increase in auto financing is a clear indication of the growing consumer confidence and the loosening of credit conditions which have together provided a good opportunity for individuals who are looking at purchasing cars through bank loans.
GUGO introduces two new electric cars in Pakistan

Models AION UT and AION V
The AION V SUV is available in a single version: V5 (base version) with V6 (top version) being just a concept.
GUGO has really raised the bar with these two new models, which are not only a major progression to their electric vehicle lineup but also come with various state-of-the-art features like advanced lithium-ion battery technology, longer mileage, and safety improvements.
Price and Reservations
The price of AION UT4 is 6.99 million PKR, and the first instalment for the reservation is 990,000 PKR.
The price of AION UT5 is 8.49 million PKR, and the first instalment for the reservation is 1.99 million PKR.
For the AION V SUV:
AION V5 is priced at PKR 11.99 million and the initial payment for reservations is PKR 1.99 million.
AION V6 is priced at PKR 12.99 million and the bookings are also available with an initial payment of PKR 1.99 million.
Main Features of AION UT
The AION UT is powered by a 60 kWh LPE lithium polymer battery that can provide a driving range of 425 kilometers on a single charge. Besides, a 14.6-inch touchscreen along with a 6-speaker sound system has been installed to enhance the infotainment experience.
The vehicle also has a panoramic sunroof which gives a pleasant look to its design. The safety of the car includes 6 airbags and for a more stylish look, 17-inch aluminum alloy wheels are provided. In addition, the car can be charged from 30% to 80% in only 24 minutes.
