KARACHI: A significant decline in the prices of gold and silver has been observed in both global and local markets today. This downward trend marks the fourth consecutive day of falling gold prices, largely due to the stalled negotiations regarding the ongoing war.

In Pakistan, the price of gold per tola has dropped by more than five hundred thousand rupees. Specifically, the price of 24-carat gold per tola fell by 5,200 rupees, bringing it down to 493,762 rupees. Additionally, the price for ten grams of gold decreased by 4,458 rupees, now valued at 423,321 rupees.

Meanwhile, silver has also seen a decline, falling by 225 rupees to reach 8,099 rupees per tola. In the international market, gold prices dropped by 52 dollars, now standing at 4,714 dollars per ounce.
