The price of gold has once again been recorded in the country, after which the price of 24-karat gold per tola has increased by Rs 400.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association, after the increase, 24-karat gold per tola in the country has become Rs 425,436. According to the Sarafa Association, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs 343, after which the new price was recorded at Rs 364,742.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold also increased by Rs 314 to Rs 334,358. A slight increase in the price of gold was also seen in the global market, where gold per ounce rose by $4 to reach $4,300.

On the other hand, a decrease in the price of silver was recorded in the country. Silver per tola fell by Rs134 to Rs6,155, while 10 grams of silver fell by Rs115 to Rs5,276. A decrease in the price of silver was also seen in the global market, where silver per ounce fell by $1.34 to $56.76.

According to experts, fluctuations in gold prices are directly affected by global market trends, the value of the dollar, the economic situation and local supply and demand.
