Gold prices in Pakistan fell on Friday in tandem with a downturn in the international market, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association said that the price of 24-carat gold per tola decreased by Rs 4,578, after which it has come down to Rs 420,600.
Yesterday, gold was sold at a high of Rs 425,178.
Similarly, 24-carat 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs 3,924 to Rs 360,597, while the price of 22-carat 10 grams of gold was recorded at Rs 330,547.
The price of gold in the global market also remained under pressure, where gold per ounce fell by $ 44 to $ 3,995.
On the other hand, silver crossed a new milestone in terms of prices.

In the local market, the price of 24-carat silver per tola increased by Rs 34 to Rs 5,100, while 10 grams of silver increased by Rs 29.42 to Rs 4,372.
