Gold prices both in the local and global markets, including Pakistan, have further dropped as the new price of Per Tola Gold was recorded at Rs 434936.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola has decreased by Rs 2,500, after which gold per Tola decreased to Rs 434,936. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold has decreased by Rs 2,143 to Rs 372,887. On the other hand, there has also been a decline in the price of silver. After becoming cheaper by Rs 120 per tola, silver has come down to Rs 6,559.
Gold prices also dropped in the global market, where gold fell by $25 per ounce to trade at $4,125. According to experts, factors such as fluctuations in gold prices in the global market, US monetary policy, the value of the dollar, and the global economic situation are affecting the prices of precious metals.
If the same trend continues in the global market, there is a possibility of further decline in gold prices in the local market as well.
