A significant drop in the prices of both gold and silver was recorded in both the local and global markets today, as the precious metal sold at 4,70,000 per Tola, while 10 Gram gold sold 402960 rupees in the local market.
Due to the impact of the global market, gold and silver prices have also declined locally, leading to a cautious attitude among investors and traders.
The gold rate in Pakistan in rupees for 1 tola is four hundred seventy thousand rupees only, per 10 gram is four hundred two thousand nine hundred sixty rupees only, 24 karat 1 gram gold available in forty thousand two hundred ninety-six rupees only, and per ounce gold rate is one million one hundred forty-two thousand three hundred eighty rupees only.
The price of gold globally fell sharply, and at one point, the price per ounce fell to about $4,555. Overall, the price of gold fell by about $100 per ounce, compared to the previous day; this decline reached $165 per ounce.
Similarly, silver prices have also fallen sharply, with the price of silver falling by about 9 percent from its recent high to the level of $78 to $80 per ounce, while at one point it recorded a decrease of more than $10.
