GILGIT: The Gilgit-Baltistan government has declared June 05 and June 6, 2026 as public holidays across the GB to facilitate the smooth conduct of the upcoming Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly elections.
According to an official notification issued by the General Administration Department (GAD), essential services will continue to operate as per their operational requirements. The holidays have been announced ahead of polling day scheduled for 7 June 2026.
