JHELUM: A 51-year-old American woman travelled to Pakistan and married a 35-year-old man from Khewra after their friendship on social media reportedly turned into a relationship.
According to the details, Rosanna Marina met Adil Shehzad through social media around three years ago. Their online friendship gradually developed into a relationship, eventually leading the couple to decide to get married.
Adil said the two had remained in contact for three years before deciding to take their relationship forward and tie the knot.
Rosanna said she travelled to Pakistan of her own choice to marry Adil and described the marriage as a decision they made together.
The American woman is expected to return to the United States a few days after the wedding.
