ISLAMABAD: Muhammad Ali Randhawa, a Grade 20 officer of the Pakistan Administrative Service, has been appointed as Director General Passport and Immigration.
The federal government has issued a notification for the appointment of Muhammad Ali Randhawa. Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has given the task of bringing reforms at all levels in Passport and Immigration to the new DG Muhammad Ali Randhawa, and directed that the Passport and Immigration system be completely digitalized across the country.
The Interior Minister directed that the entire system be made paperless. Mohsin Naqvi said that the convenience of the public should be given top priority in the Passport and Immigration system.
