The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has taken several important administrative decisions including transfers and postings of officers, dismissals, extension of deputation and approval of performance allowance.

The FBR has transferred and posted grade 17 to 19 officers of the Inland Revenue Service in Lahore, Sukkur and Sialkot. Muhammad Ali (BS-19) has been posted as Additional Commissioner RTO Sukkur, Ghulam Mustafa (BS-19) has been posted as Additional Commissioner RTO Lahore while Sanobar Iqbal (BS-17) has been posted as Assistant Commissioner RTO Sialkot.

The decision has been taken in larger national interest to improve efficiency of tax collection and increase the revenue in head of various taxes to benefit national exchequer. FBR has taken number of initiatives for the improvement of collection and has significant boost recorded in head of taxation.
