ISLAMABAD: DG ISPR Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry attended a special session with scholars and students of Jamia Urwat-ul-Wathiqa, a religious school, on Saturday.
DG ISPR Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry was warmly welcomed by Director General Allama Syed Jawad Naqvi and students upon his arrival at Jamia Urwat-ul-Wathiqa. On this occasion, Allama Syed Jawad Naqvi called the awakening of national consciousness essential for the new generation, while the students paid tribute to the Pakistani Armed Forces for the historic victory in Operation Banyan Marsus.
The students expressed their views and said that all doubts and suspicions regarding the negative propaganda being spread on social media have been dispelled. The students further said that the Pakistan Army is our honor, pride and glory, and the entire nation, including religious schools of thought, stand by their forces.
