ISLAMABAD: A local court in Islamabad has issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur in the audio leak case.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Nasr Minallah Baloch heard the case. No representative appeared on behalf of Ali Amin Gandapur during the hearing, due to which the indictment proceedings were postponed.
The court ordered the arrest and production of the former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister and adjourned the further hearing of the case till December 5.
It may be recalled that in 2022, an alleged audio leak of Ali Amin Gandapur related to the PTI’s long march came to light, in which he was heard asking a person about weapons.
A case was registered against Ali Amin Gandapur at the Golra police station in this regard.
