KARACHI: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi delivered a short speech at Karachi’s Naseem Chowrangi, but during this time, the workers had to wait all day.

After Chief Minister Sohail Afridi’s short speech, he left the Nimaish Chowrangi, after which the workers also had to return.
During this time, many parts of the Chowrangi remained closed, and citizens continued to face severe difficulties. According to the Traffic Department, it was only after the Chief Minister’s departure that the restoration of Naseem Chowrangi was possible, and the flow of traffic resumed.
Public circles have criticised this strategy of the Chief Minister and termed it as indifference towards the workers.
Users on social media sarcastically said that this short speech was like a slap in the face of the workers’ patience throughout the da,y and that the administrative hurdles affected the daily lives of the citizens.
This incident proved difficult not only for the workers but also for the common citizens, which made the lack of planning by the administration clear.
