RAWALPINDI: Bushra Bibi, the wife of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, has been diagnosed with vision problems, according to her medical report. Following an examination at Adiala Jail by Dr. Arif Khan, an eye specialist at Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) Hospital, the report highlights several issues affecting her right eye.

The findings indicate that Bushra Bibi has been experiencing blurred vision and dark spots in her right eye. She has also reported flashes of light and headaches, which were noted during the examination. The medical report confirms that she is suffering from Posterior Vitreous Detachment (PVD) in her right eye.

In addition, Bushra Bibi has myopia (nearsightedness) and astigmatism, conditions that impair her ability to see objects clearly at both near and far distances.

To manage her condition, doctors have advised Bushra Bibi to wear glasses and use specific eye drops. They have also prescribed medication and recommended a follow-up examination in four weeks.

Eye specialists indicate that myopia and astigmatism can affect a patient’s near vision, often necessitating the use of corrective lenses for improved clarity.

This medical update sheds light on the health issues faced by Bushra Bibi as she continues to receive treatment while in custody.
