Pakistan’s automotive industry is experiencing a remarkable resurgence, with recent data revealing a massive boom in vehicle sales across all categories.

In April 2026, the auto sector recorded a staggering 107% year-on-year increase, with monthly sales reaching 22,015 units—a record-breaking figure for the country.

This momentum is reflected in the broader fiscal year performance, as total vehicle sales climbed to 166,000 units over the past ten months. Specifically, car sales have seen a significant 49% growth during these ten months, signalling a strong recovery in consumer demand.

The two and three-wheeler segments are equally buoyant, demonstrating robust market activity. In April 2026 alone, sales for motorcycles and rickshaws hit 190,340 units, representing a 40% annual increase. Over the first ten months of the fiscal year, the total volume for this segment has surged past 162,000 units, underscoring a widespread upward trend across the entire auto sector.
