PESHAWAR: The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has revised the office working days schedule under the austerity plan to save fuel and reduce government expenditure.
The establishment department issued a notification stating that, under the instructions of the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the provincial government has made new decisions aimed at fuel conservation and promoting responsible government practices.
According to the notification, all government offices will implement a work-from-home policy every Friday for a duration of two months or until conditions improve, whichever comes first.
Additionally, spring vacations will be observed in all government and private educational institutions starting March 24. This break will impact only four days, from Friday to Sunday, which is already a holiday. It is important to note that board or university exams will not be affected by these changes.
