Anti-Terrorist Court(ATC) declared Omar Ayub and Zartaj Gul as absconders and ordered confiscation of their properties.
Anti-Terrorist Court(ATC) Judge Tahir Abbas Supra of the court issued an order to confiscate the properties of the declared accused during the hearing of the case. The Anti-Terrorism Court has declared Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders Omar Ayub and Zartaj Gul absconder in the Sangjani Jalsa case.
The court has approved the applications of other PTI leaders, Zain Qureshi, Ali Bukhari, Sher Afzal Marwat, and Shoaib Shaheen, for exemption from attendance during the hearing of the case. After this decision, these leaders will not be required to appear in court.
The court has adjourned the further hearing of the case till December 20, so that more evidence and legal proceedings could be completed. It may be recalled that a case has been registered against the PTI leaders in Sangjani police station, which is related to the incidents that took place during the Sangjani rally.
After this decision of the court, legal proceedings against Omar Ayub and Zartaj Gul have intensified, and after being declared as absconders, their properties can be confiscated. In the further hearing of the case, it will be seen how the future legal steps will be implemented.
