ISLAMABAD: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister, Muhammad Sohail Afridi, on Wednesday said that any amendment with support from 17 seats will be unconstitutional.
The KP Chief Minister made this statement while talking to the media on his arrival at the Parliament House in Islamabad. Sohail Afridi said that the purpose of his coming here is that “Parliament has become the supreme form”.
He said that he wants a resolution to be passed from here so that he can meet his leader, Imran Khan, and that was essential at this time to lead his province.
Sohail Afridi further said that the 27th Constitutional Amendment will also be discussed in the meeting.
In response to a question, he said that any amendment that comes from 17 seats will be unconstitutional.
Mr Sohail Afridi visited the Parliament House for the first time since he assumed the office of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi has submitted a letter to the Islamabad High Court seeking to file a contempt of court case.
The letter points out that the court had ordered the Chief Minister to meet with Imran Khan, the founding chairman of PTI, but the jail administration did not permit the meeting.
Furthermore, an application has already been made to obtain a certified copy of the court’s decision, which has yet to be provided. The letter requests that a certified copy of the order be issued promptly to uphold the law and advance the case.
