He was a figure of steadfastness and courage while following in the footsteps of his martyred father Bashir Bilour. Those who raised their voices for peace and democracy were always targeted by forces hostile to peace, but their sacrifice further strengthened the resolve of the Awami National Party.

On the occasion of the eighth death anniversary, the Awami National Party pays tribute to Haroon Bilour Shaheed and other comrades who embraced martyrdom with him. Aimal Wali Khan said that Maulana Khanzeb Shaheed was a valuable asset of the Pakhtun nation and the national movement.

He was a true follower of Bacha Khan’s philosophy of non-violence, national awareness, peace and political struggle. His life’s mission was to raise awareness among the Pakhtun nation about their resources, land and rights, to raise political consciousness and to promote peaceful struggle.
