NOWSHERA: A motorcyclist was killed, and his two other friends were injured, when a speedy car hit them on Cherat road in Nowshera late on Wednesday night.
According to the details, the accident took place on Cherat Road in Nowshera, where three friends were riding the same motorcycle after buying packing from Saleh Khana Cherat. When the youths were passing through Jalozai, a speeding motor car hit their motorcycle.
As a result of the accident, the three youths were seriously injured and were immediately shifted to Pabbi Mian Rashid Shaheed Hospital. One of the injured youths, a class 10 student of Sina Public School, Muhammad son of Taj Muhammad, succumbed to his injuries.
The condition of the other two injured youths was critical, so they were shifted to Lady Reading Hospital, Peshawar, for further treatment. Their condition is still critical, and an emergency has been declared in the hospital for the treatment of the injured persons.
The incident has created an atmosphere of mourning in the area and has made people realize the importance of caution on the roads and traffic rules. The lack of control of speeding vehicles and lack of caution on the road leads to such accidents, which become a source of regret not only for the affected individuals but also for the entire society.
It is to mentioning here that the over-speeding of a car also caused two deaths on Islamabad Constitution Avenue two days ago, in which the son of a judicial officer was arrested.
