ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has qualified for the final of the IBSF Snooker World Cup with a spectacular display of power against India.
There was a nail-biter of a match in which Zed Pars defeated Indians 3-1 in frames and consequently, the Pakistani fans exploded with happiness.
The pair of cueists Mohammad Asif and Asjad Iqbal from Pakistan team went for the kill and were spot-on with their balls throughout the match,, Both Pakistani players were in great mental and technical form throughout the match, thus they managed to win the most important frames that were ultimately responsible for their team’s advancement to the final.
Friendly handshake of players from both sides was the highlight of the event after the match.
The win at a time like this is a great propeller for Pakistan’s move up the world ranking of snooker. Supporters and sports pundits have positively reviewed the team’s performance and are therefore hopeful that Pakistan will be equally triumphant in the final.

Farhan sets record with 100 T20 sixes in a calendar year
Pakistan’s opener Farhan Sahibzada, hit a massive milestone in T20 cricket as he became the first Pakistani batter to blast 100 sixes in one calendar year.
The area of enaction to this record was the Tri-Nation T20 Series match that took place in Rawalpindi on Saturday, where Pakistan defeated Sri Lanka by a margin of 7 wickets with great ease.
In his excellent form with the bat, Farhan hammered the bowling attack with a 45-ball unbeaten 80 run knock and in the process, he hit five sixes. The aggressive batting of him enabled Pakistan to reach the target of 129 runs in just 16 overs.
Earlier, Sri Lanka had managed to score 128 for 7, as Pakistan’s bowlers exerted considerable pressure on the opponent’s batting lineup.
Farhan’s performance has generated a lot of positive vibes and is seen as a turning point for the Pakistan batting records in T20. His ability to hit powerful shots all along the year has been a great contributor to him being one of the top players in the shortest format of Pakistan.
Pakistan will meet Zimbabwe in the tri-series on Sunday (today).
