PESHAWAR: Member of National Assembly Sher Afzal Marwat said that discussion of the 27th Constitutional Amendment that are coming to light are worrying and according this amendment judges would be transferred without their consent.
Currently, the transfer of High Court judges cannot be done without their consent according to the law, Sher Afzal Marwat said.
He said that after the 27th Constitutional Amendment, any judge will be transferred to any part of the country, and judges who will not decide in favor of the powerful forces will be transferred to any place.
He added that 26th Constitutional Amendment is already an attack on the independence of the judiciary, Now the 27th Amendment has further threatened the independence of the Supreme Court.
I have heard that the powers of Article 199 are also being limited Sher Afzal Marwat said.
He said that there is also discussion of transferring the powers of the President of Pakistan to the Prime Minister.

He mentioned that 27th Amendment is now threatening the 18th Amendment and now it is being waited that whether the PPP has stood by its stance on the 18th Amendment .
”I have been facing cases against me from the provincial government, I have been going to court for two years”, Sher Afzal Marwat said.
The provincial government’s police are not even submitting answers to my cases, It is a reality that we had prayed for the government to be established in the province, Sher Afzal Marwat said.
”I am not afraid of these fake cases, There is no case against me for May 9.
He welcomed the Jirga on Law and order and said that the Jirga will reveal the position of the people and the government of the province.
