NEW DELHI: Veteran Bollywood actor Satish Shah, best known for his iconic role as the quirky professor in the super hit film “Main Hoon Na”, died on Friday after a long fight with kidney-related ailments. He was 74.
As per the sources, the senior actor had been receiving treatment in a Mumbai hospital for quite a few months. He had recently undergone a kidney transplant as well, but he died despite the medical efforts.
Shah’s manager, while confirming the news, said that the actor’s body is at the hospital and his funeral rites will be held on Sunday.

Satish Shah had the chameleon-like talent of transforming himself into different characters and over the span of his lifetime he has been a part of the Indian film industry and television industry for the most part, in which he acted with incredible versatility.
