Pakistan Airports Authority Announces IT Jobs

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) has announced new regular vacancies for IT professionals, offering a pay scale that goes up to Rs. 168,880 per month.

According to details, PAA is hiring five Assistant Director-level positions in network engineering, IT operations, technology transformation, cybersecurity, and software development. Each post carries one vacancy under the merit quota and falls under the EG-01 pay scale of Rs. 56,280 – 5,630 – 168,880.

PAA has announced one vacancy each for the following positions: Assistant Director / IT Network Engineer, Assistant Director / IT Operations Engineer, Assistant Director IT (Technology Transformation), Assistant Director IT (Cyber Security), and Assistant Director IT (Software Development – Full Stack).

All appointments will be made regularly under the Defined Contribution Scheme, subject to approval by the competent authority. For most positions, candidates must hold a BS or BE degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Communication, Software Engineering, Cyber Security, Computer Engineering, or another relevant field.

Applicants must have at least a second division and a minimum of 16 years of education. For the Technology Transformation position, PAA also accepts a BBA in Business Analytics or Information Technology. Most positions require at least three years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field.

The Network Engineer role requires experience in managing corporate IT networks, monitoring systems, resolving network faults, and working with Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols. The IT Operations position requires experience in operating systems, application software, cloud computing, help desk services, vendor contracts, and IT procurement.

The Technology Transformation role focuses on emerging technologies, feasibility studies, procurement, RFP preparation, contract management, and project planning. The Cyber Security position requires experience in security operations, risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and information security standards.

Interested candidates must submit the online job application form available through the official Pakistan Airports Authority website at paa.gov.pk.  Eligible candidates can apply online for these positions until November 15, 2026.

Candidates must upload a CV with a photograph, copies of required educational certificates and degrees, and their CNIC with complete online application. PAA has stated that applications submitted without the required documents will be rejected.
