RIYADH: Pakistani citizens living in Saudi Arabia can now book online appointments for new passports and passport renewals as Pakistan’s Embassy in Riyadh has introduced a new booking system.

Assistant Director Passport Sajid Mahmood said the system had been introduced to make passport services faster, easier and more convenient for Pakistani nationals living in Saudi Arabia.

He said the online facility would help applicants avoid unnecessary waiting and enable embassy staff to handle passport applications more efficiently. The system is also expected to reduce overcrowding at the embassy by managing visits through scheduled appointments.

Officials urged applicants to book appointments only through the embassy’s official website to protect themselves from possible scams and fraud. The embassy also warned citizens against relying on individuals who offer to secure appointments on their behalf.
