PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has ordered a large-scale reshuffle in the Civil Secretariat, transferring and posting 19 officers and officials with immediate effect.
According to a notification issued by the Human Resource Management Department (HRMD) on October 22, 2026, officials previously posted in the offices of various provincial ministers have been transferred to the offices of Advisors to the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The orders have come into force with immediate effect. As per the notification, from the office of the Minister for Law, Muhammad Tariq, Munsif Shah, Irfan Ullah and Muhammad Arif have been posted to the office of the Advisor to the Governor for Law. Muhammad Tariq will serve as Private Secretary and Munsif Shah as Personal Assistant.
Similarly, from the office of the Minister for Labour, Fazal Dad, Muhammad Yasir and Muhammad Afzal have been shifted to the office of the Advisor to the Governor for Minerals and Mining. Fazal Dad has been posted as Personal Assistant.
From the office of the Minister for Irrigation and the Irrigation Department, Haider Ali, Abbas Aziz, Hamza Aziz and Jawad Ali have been posted to the office of the Advisor to the Governor for Elementary & Secondary and Higher Education. Haider Ali has been appointed as Principal Secretary, while Hamza Aziz will serve as Personal Assistant. From the office of the Minister for Health, Mumtaz Ali Shah, Muhammad Yousuf and Rahmat Uddin have been transferred to the office of the Advisor to Governor for Health.
From the Elementary and Secondary Education Department, Nisar Muhammad has been appointed as Private Secretary in the office of the Advisor to Governor for Industries and Commerce, while Muhammad Irfan and Muhammad Junaid from the office of Special Assistant for Industries have been posted as Personal Assistant and staff in the same office.
In addition, Syed Azam Shah from the office of the Minister for Information and Public Relations has been appointed as Private Secretary in the office of the Advisor to Governor for Information, while Sher Shah from the Sports and Youth Affairs Department has been posted as Personal Assistant in the same office.
The notification states that copies have been sent to the Accountant General Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, all concerned administrative departments, offices of the Advisors to the Governor, and other relevant authorities for immediate compliance.
Officials said the reshuffle has been made under the administrative affairs of the provincial civil secretariat amid the ongoing transition after the imposition of Governor’s Rule in the province.
