The rising prices of precious metals on a global scale are now impacting the local market in Pakistan, where the prices of gold continue to rise. Today, gold prices have once again seen a significant increase, reaching a historic high in the country.

According to the Jewellers Association, the price of 24-carat pure gold per tola has risen by Rs 14,100, bringing the total to Rs 456,900. Similarly, the price for 10 grams of gold has increased by Rs 12,089, now sold at Rs 391,718.

In the international market, gold prices have also surged, increasing by $141 per ounce to reach $4,358. Additionally, the price of silver has gone up, with silver per tola rising by Rs 167 to Rs 5,504.
