PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has transferred Dr Nauman Mujahid, Additional Secretary in the Health Department and appointed him as the new Director of Youth Affairs.
According to a notification issued by the HRMD under reference No. SO(S-I)/HRM&AD/6-274/2026(V), the transfer was made on the directions of the Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Dr Mujahid, a Provincial Management Service (PMS) officer in Basic Scale 18, has been transferred under Section 10 of the Civil Servants Act, 1973. The appointment will take effect immediately.
The latest transfers represent a significant administrative reshuffle across the provincial bureaucracy. However, the notifications cited in the report do not explicitly establish a direct link between the transfers and any potential imposition of governor’s rule.
