ISLAMABAD: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has warned citizens against a fraudulent website impersonating the authority to scam applicants seeking Punjab arms licences.

According to the warning, fraudsters are collecting substantial amounts of money in the name of arms licence fees through the fake website. Applicants are also being misled into providing sensitive identification details, raising concerns about the potential misuse of their personal information.

NADRA has advised applicants seeking Punjab arms licences to remain vigilant against fraudulent operators and unverified websites.

The authority urged citizens to verify the website address before submitting an application and to confirm the authenticity of any platform before sharing personal or identification information or making payments.

NADRA has directed applicants to use only the official website, pal.nadra.gov.pk, for Punjab arms licence services.

Citizens have been cautioned against trusting unofficial platforms claiming to provide arms licence services in order to avoid financial losses and the misuse of their personal data.
