ISLAMABAD: Petrol prices in Pakistan are expected to decrease by Rs3.81 per litre for the next three days, while diesel prices are likely to remain unchanged, according to preliminary estimates.
The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) is expected to determine the prices of petroleum products for the upcoming three-day period. The anticipated reduction in petrol prices comes amid a decline in international crude oil prices.
According to the estimates, petrol could become cheaper by Rs3.81 per litre, while the price of high-speed diesel is expected to remain unchanged during the same period. The final prices will depend on the official notification.
International Oil Prices Decline
International oil prices fell on the last trading day of the business week.
US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures dropped by $0.48 to $97.49 per barrel, while Brent crude futures declined by $0.49 to $105.43 per barrel.
The decline in global oil prices has raised expectations of a reduction in domestic petrol prices.
