QUETTA: The Deputy Commissioner of Quetta West has banned private schools from collecting fees during winter vacations in light of a Balochistan High Court ruling.
A formal notification has been issued, directing all private educational institutions to comply fully with the court’s orders.
Deputy Commissioner Munir Ahmed Durrani has warned that schools violating the directive by charging fees for the winter break could face cancellation of their registration and sealing of their premises.
The deputy commissioner has also urged parents to immediately report any school collecting fees during the winter holidays to the Deputy Commissioner’s Office or the relevant education department so that prompt action can be taken.
