PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government on Sunday issued transfer and posting orders for divisional commissioners across the province as part of a major bureaucratic reshuffle.
According to official notifications issued by the Human Resource Management Department on October 11, 2026, Captain (Retd.) Khalid Mehmood (PAS BS-19) has been transferred from his post as Commissioner Bannu Division and posted as the new Commissioner of Peshawar Division.
Mr. Riaz Khan Mehsud (PCS EG BS-20), who was serving as the Peshawar Division Commissioner, has been directed to report back to the Human Resource Management Department.
Mr. Parwaiz (PMS BS-20), previously serving as Special Secretary of the Agriculture Department, has been appointed as Commissioner Kohat Division, replacing Mr. Motasim Billah Shah (PMS BS-20).
Meanwhile, Mr. Iqbal Hussain (PMS BS-19), who served as Joint Secretary at the Federal Government, has been posted as Commissioner Malakand Division, replacing Mr. Masood Ahmad (PCS SG BS-21).
All transfers and postings to take effect immediately.
