PESHAWAR: Gold and silver prices recorded another increase in local and international markets on Saturday, making precious metals more expensive for consumers and investors.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Association, the price of 24-karat gold increased by Rs1,100 per tola, bringing the new rate to Rs442,036.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs943 to reach Rs378,974.
Silver Prices Also Increase
Silver prices also registered an upward trend in the domestic market. The price of silver increased by Rs43 per tola, taking the new rate to Rs6,555.
The latest increase adds to fluctuations in precious metal prices, which remain closely watched by jewellery traders, investors and consumers.
Gold Gains in International Market
In the international market, gold prices increased by $11 per ounce, reaching $4,195.
The rise in international gold prices was accompanied by an increase in domestic rates, reflecting the continued movement of precious metal prices in global and local markets.
