LAHORE: The Punjab government has announced the schedule for distributing Honhaar Scholarships and free laptops among students across all nine divisions of the province, with the distribution process set to take place in October and November.
Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat confirmed that the distribution would begin with a special ceremony on October 15 at the University of Sahiwal.
During the ceremony, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz will distribute scholarships and laptops among students from Sahiwal, Okara and Pakpattan districts.

According to the provincial education minister, similar ceremonies will be organised across all nine divisions of Punjab in the weeks following the Sahiwal event.
Students from other districts will receive laptops and scholarships in phases as part of the government’s education support initiatives.
The minister described the announcement as good news for students across the province and expressed confidence that the distribution process would be completed within the announced timeframe.
