The verification process for providing e-bikes to matriculation students in Punjab has officially begun, with students aged 16 to 18 eligible to apply.

According to details, the Punjab government has started the formal verification process for students who applied for the e-bike scheme aimed at providing electric motorcycles to thousands of matric students across the province.

The School Education Department has forwarded the records of applicants to the heads of their respective schools and directed them to immediately verify the details of students enrolled in grades 9 and 10.

All school heads across Punjab have been instructed to complete the verification of student data within 24 hours and submit the verified information back to the School Education Department.

Students aged 16 to 18 years will be eligible for the e-bike scheme.

According to the Education Department, electric motorcycles will be provided only to eligible and deserving students whose information has been verified through the official process.

The School Education Department said millions of students from schools across Punjab have already submitted applications for the electric bike scheme. Authorities have now directed schools to complete the verification process as soon as possible.
