ISLAMABAD: The Higher Education Commission (HEC), in collaboration with the United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP) has announced the Fulbright Scholar Program 2027, inviting applications from Pakistani academics and professionals for teaching and research opportunities in the United States.
According to the announcement, Pakistani educators and professionals can apply for the programme, which will provide opportunities to undertake teaching and postdoctoral research in the US.
The online application deadline is October 28, 2026.
All PhD holders in every discipline, excluding clinical medicine, are eligible for the program.
Through the Fulbright Scholar Program, the selected scholars will be able to spend up to 10 months in the US for teaching and postdoctoral research.
The scholarship package will include airfare, monthly stipend, health insurance and a research allowance.
