KARACHI – After a one-day stability, gold prices have once again recorded a major decline in both international and domestic markets.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Association, the price of 24-carat gold per tola decreased by Rs 3,100 to Rs 434,436 across the country. The price of 10 grams of gold also fell by Rs 2,658 to Rs 372,458.
Similarly, the price of silver per tola also decreased by Rs 100, after which the new price became Rs 6,488. On the other hand, in the international market, the price of gold per ounce decreased by $31 to $4,119.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Association, yesterday 24-carat gold per tola remained at Rs 437,536, while the price of 10 grams of gold was Rs 375,116.
Yesterday, the price of silver per tola remained stable at Rs 6,588, while in the international market, the price of gold per ounce was stable at $4,150.Analysts attribute the decline to profit-taking in the international market and a slight strengthening of the dollar.
It is worth mentioning that yesterday, gold and silver prices remained stable in the global and local markets.
