ISLAMABAD: The Embassy of Pakistan in Saudi Arabia has announced the launch of an online appointment system for Machine Readable Passport (MRP) services.

According to the Pakistani Embassy in Saudi Arabia, the new system is aimed at making passport services more convenient, efficient, and accessible for the Pakistani community in the Kingdom. Applicants can use the online system to select their preferred date and time for an appointment, helping them avoid long queues at the embassy.

The embassy has encouraged applicants to book their appointments online through its official website, pakistaninksa.com. Key features of the new system include online appointment booking, choice of preferred date and time, reduced waiting and queuing, and more convenient access to passport services.

Saudi Arabia is home to a large Pakistani community, with around 1.8 million Pakistanis recorded in the Kingdom. They work across a wide range of sectors, including construction, services, healthcare, transport, business and other skilled professions.

Pakistani workers also play an important role in Saudi Arabia’s development projects and contribute significantly to Pakistan through remittances.
