QUETTA: Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan North has announced new recruitment opportunities for soldiers and clerks under Recruit Course 71, offering positions in General Duty, EME, Signal and Combat Clerk categories.

The recruitment drive is open to eligible candidates from across Pakistan. Applicants are required to appear at designated recruitment centres according to the schedule issued by the force, with recruitment activities continuing through October 10, 2026.

The recruitment notice specifies separate eligibility criteria for local Baloch and non-local applicants, including differences in educational qualifications, age limits and minimum height requirements.

Education: Middle, Matric, FA, ICS or relevant technical qualifications, depending on the position

Age: 18–23 years for non-local candidates and 18–26 years for local Baloch candidates

Minimum height: 5 feet 6 inches for non-local candidates and 5 feet 3 inches for local Baloch candidates

Soldier Positions and Eligibility

For the General Duty Soldier position, non-local candidates are required to have completed Matriculation, while local Baloch applicants may apply with a Middle-level qualification.

For EME Soldier positions, applicants are required to have an FSc Pre-Engineering qualification with first division. Candidates holding a Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) may receive preference, according to the recruitment notice.

Candidates seeking Signal Soldier positions must have completed FA or ICS.

Applicants must fulfill the applicable educational, age and physical requirements before appearing for recruitment.

Recruitment Schedule

Candidates from different parts of the country are required to report to the designated recruitment centres on their assigned dates. The final phase of recruitment is scheduled for October 8 to 10, 2026, at selected centres.
