ISLAMABAD: Fresh graduates have been offered an opportunity to receive a monthly stipend of Rs80,000 under a one-year Management Trainee Programme launched by the Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC).
The state-owned corporation, working under the Ministry of Energy, has introduced the programme to provide young professionals with practical training and opportunities to enhance their professional skills.
Under the programme, two Management Trainee positions are available in the Sales and Marketing and Legal departments. Selected candidates will undergo training for one year and receive a fixed monthly stipend of Rs80,000.
PMDC has clarified that the selection will be made on a contractual basis and participation in the programme will not create an employer-employee relationship between the trainees and the corporation. Completion of the programme will also not create any obligation on PMDC to offer permanent employment to the trainees.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be Pakistani citizens, including candidates holding foreign educational qualifications, provided their credentials meet the relevant requirements.
Candidates must have completed at least 16 years of education, with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent qualification in the relevant field from an HEC-recognised institution.
Other eligibility requirements include:
A minimum 3.0 CGPA.
Graduation completed during 2025-26.
Candidates with or without post-qualification experience may apply.
Maximum age of 28 years as of the date of the advertisement.
Rs 80,000 Monthly Stipend
Selected trainees will receive a lump-sum monthly stipend of Rs80,000 throughout the one-year training programme.
The programme is designed to provide fresh graduates with practical exposure and opportunities to develop professional skills.
Selection Process
Eligible applicants will be required to appear in a written test and interview. The final merit will be determined according to the following weightage:
Academic record: 30%
Written test: 40%
Interview: 30%
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the next stages of the recruitment process.
PMDC has also stated that candidates participating in the selection process will not be entitled to any TA/DA.

The last date to apply is October 13, 2026. PMDC said incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
