The Pakistan Army foiled attacks by the Afghan Taliban and Fitna al-Khawarij in the Spin Boldak-Chaman area when the Afghan Taliban and Fitna al-Khawarij attacked 4 places in Spin Boldak, Balochistan, but the retaliatory action of the Pakistan Army forced the Afghan Taliban to retreat, while 15 to 20 Afghan Taliban were killed in the Pakistan Army operation.

The ISPR says that the Afghan Taliban and Fitna al-Khawarij terrorists are using villages and innocent people as shields. The Afghan Taliban and Fitna al-Khawarij terrorists blew up the Pak-Afghan Friendship Gate on their side, which shows their immature thinking about their trade and tribal relations. According to ISPR, the situation in the area is still said to be tense and uncertain. There are reports that Fitna al-Khawarij and Taliban are preparing for more attacks, and this attack is not limited to Spin Boldak but is part of a wider plan.

ISPR says that the Pakistan Army also foiled an attempt by Fitna al-Khawarij and Afghan Taliban to attack the Kurram sector last night. In the counter-attack, 8 posts of the Afghan Taliban, 6 tanks along with their crews were destroyed, and 25 to 30 Taliban and Fitna al-Khawarij fighters were reported to have been killed. According to the ISPR, saying that the attack was launched by Pakistan is a complete lie and a baseless claim. The false claims of the Taliban government can be proven wrong even by simple facts.

The ISPR says that the Pakistani armed forces are fully prepared to defend the country’s sovereignty. Any aggression against Pakistan will be responded to with full force and effectiveness.
